A multi-company ERP connecting finance, procurement, inventory and operational workflows, used by approximately 200–250 people across 7–9 businesses.

My role

Progressed from Software Engineer to Senior Software Engineer and Technical Product Manager at MicroKosm, contributing to development, production support and delivery planning.

What I delivered

  • Features across accounting, sales, procurement and inventory workflows.
  • Role-based permissions, transaction notifications and email integration.
  • Fixes for Entity Framework tracking issues, memory problems and desktop UI defects.
  • Requirements planning, developer mentoring and coordination of ERP modernisation.

02 · Individual academic projectApplication development

Smart Home Energy Management

A Django application for monitoring household energy use, managing appliances and schedules, and supporting separate workflows for administrators, homeowners and maintenance teams.

My role

Designed and developed the application as an individual project, covering the data model, role-based workflows, design patterns and testing.

What I delivered

  • Role-based login and dashboards with energy usage charts.
  • Appliance management, device scheduling and usage notifications.
  • Pricing strategies and Factory, Singleton and Observer patterns.
  • ERD, class and use-case diagrams, alongside unit, integration and user acceptance testing.
03 · Team academic projectDevOps & cloud delivery

Task Management Platform

A team project combining a React interface with Django user and task services, containerised delivery and a deployment pipeline using Jenkins and AWS.

Served as Project Manager, coordinating team delivery and contributing to pipeline configuration, deployment workflows and verification.

What we delivered

  • Separate user and task services with a React frontend.
  • Docker containers and Compose configuration for deployment.
  • Jenkins CI/CD with container images stored in AWS ECR and deployment to EC2.
  • Webhook checks and API verification using Postman.
